Hate it? Not at all; this is amazing; it reminds me of traditional ukiyo-e art. Very nice style, and I like the subtle splashes of colour.

The colours are too dead in comparison to the liveliness of the image and it's motion.

Very nice I could easily see this as part of a kick ass tattoo or just as a mural piece.

Thanks, I've done afew tattoos like this, never though about adding it to a mural type piece. I've airbrushed afew but usually portraits and graffiti style. Might add some oriental stuff next time

Its tattoo styled. I try not to make it look to much like a tattoo design, I draw those ones all the time at work

Judging from your other work I reckon your quality with pen and ink. Something like the after mindnight pic would look amazing in sketchy pen and Ink style

haha, thanks, funny story about the after midnight pic though.. i originally started doing it in pen and ink and it was just a total FAIL xD so i re-did it in photoshop. i think i just got carried away with the pen though, if i did it yet again i might be able to get it right.

The drawing looks amazing, love the details on the scales, and the flowers, and all, I also love the colors of it, I'm happy when people do lots of details in their drawings, they put so much effort, like you lovely

Awesome colors. I like the style of the dragon and the detail in the flowers. The sepia-ish tone is nice. I think it would have had a different feel if it were the more 'standard' white.

Gorgeous, really like the shades of brown. Maybe you tried a more golden version too?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
brokenpuppet86 In reply to undermine [2010-12-14 21:20:24 +0000 UTC]
Thanks. Na when I do dragons I tend to do a tint of brown to give it an aged look, kinda becoming a signature of mine. think I might have to try a dragon with some gold in it, think that could really work
