Pretty nice work, specially the shading and all the details excelente, but I dont know, the left eyes is a little more small than the other one, but indeed nice!

Amazing portrait here; I absolutely love your shading. The hair looks amazing too; that's one thing that I can never quite achieve with graphite without making it look smudgy.

the hair is a nightmare to do, had to redo it over and over to get it right. spent ages doing it and my favourite bit is the hair on the arm lol, the bit that took 10 mins to do if that

Thanks the actual picture looks quite different, the jacket is alot darker and the face lighting isnt so dramatic. I really need to invest in a good scanner so I can stop using my camera, such a nightmare to get a good picture

yeah, I know what you mean. Though even with a good scanner it's sometimes hard. I end up doing quite a bit of touching up, cleaning dust particles and stuff

unfortunately i don't know this guy, but i believe you did a great job on it: the contrast's sufficient, and the light influence seems logically on the person itself. only thing to wonder about is the light influence on the background: why can i see less details on the spot, where there must be the highest light-income?
but of course the good weighes over the little inconstistence.

The reference picture has a blurry back ground and the shadow of the blinds ends around his body. the dark spot is just a miss hap from the photograph. its actually all smooth there. my camera is crappy

kk i know this problem, since my scanner is so old, it changes colour tones while scanning ;_;, so you'll be forgiven for this "mistake"

Great shading with the pencils!! It almost looks like charcoal, but I prefer using pencils also. A lot less messy than charcoal!

lol I still get plenty messy with it, I use my fingers for shading to much
