considering it's a first and following some instructions you saw awhile ago very nice. You managed to grasp and succeed two concepts:

1. expressive, gestural lines in the stems and petals
2. you captured the shapes of the flowers very well, in different perspectives, and with some color variety to give them some volume, although the two flowers at the bottom are more flat.

Things to work on:

1. background. Here it's a bit confused and unresolved. If it were all just abstract colors then fine, but the blue above feels like sky and isn't melded in well with the rest.
2. Colors - the red and black together only kinda/sorta work. There needs to be some blues and pinks blended into these flowers to really bring them out. The stems could more darks and lights as well, even for the style you're going for. the best way to practice and see more colors is to disregard the kind of show you saw and ...
3. paint from observation. If you can do this from memory, you could almost certainly paint phenomenally from life. Give it a try.

I have no idea what the different paints are so acrylic does not really mean anything to me but I do like the result

Acrylic is not as ''see through'' as say water paint... if you use it.. it cover over the other color completely...whereas water paint lets the other color underneath seen... and oil.. well that's just what it is.. paint based on oil.... hope this helps you some
