At last, I post something that is not a repost!
Admittedly I am still rather rusty, and I don't tend to like my art when I make it. But I'll likely think this is cute later on!

For some context: Sallie is a character of the novel I am "writing" [I've been procrastinating] She's a positive and kind-hearted young adult rather isolated from the world. She spends a lot of time at home as the town of Stratham isn't particularly the safest.

She lives alone with her brother, who is away a lot, who is all she has. But he has a pregnant girlfriend and several jobs to maintain. Needless to say he isn't around a lot.. In the story she gets the courage to interact with her neighbour, Mitchell, to make up for the absence of her brother. And they do gradually grow a bond, despite Mitchell's pessimistic perspective on life in contrast to his own.

Her primary role in the story is to keep Mitchell [The main character] in check a bit, since he has a tendency to spiral too deeply into his mindset. Her character generally comes across as a stupid immature girl, but throughout the novel she makes statements that go against that first impression. Sure she is inexperienced and a bit of an oddball, and can be childlike in her mannerisms. But despite that she knows rights and wrongs, isn't naïve but forgiving, and is determined to become independent.
