Lansing, Michigan boxer Candi Sarver tasted the punching power of Canadian Sandy Tsagouris early in the Canadian's pro career. In this super lightweight fight in Sarver's home town in 2006 the hard hitting Tsagouris finished Sarver by TKO in the third round. The win brought Tsagouris to 4-0 with 3 stoppages. Tsagouris went on to win the NABF Featherweight title in 2008. She lost a WIBF world title fight to Ina Menzer in Germany in 2008 and a WBA world title fight to Hyun-Mi Choi in South Korea in 2011. She returned to boxing in 2014 looking for a third shot at a world title.
