There is a story about the pears - I spent about 8 minutes looking through the supermarket bins for two pears with contoured shapes that would 'fit' together in a yin/yang configuration. Plus they had to have an interesting patchy skin coloration rather than a flat brown.
Note: Instead of word Tazo on the tea tag, the print version has the word "Dali" on it.

Very interesting - no, that sounds like I didn't like it - it's really intriguing. Cup as a lampshade, the pear standing on the stalk, and the steampunky colors ... really quite surreal. How did you arrange the items? Fixed to the wall?
Great story about the pears, too. It's always great when searching for something judging it not buy its usual criteria, but for reasons of art
