Hey guys! I’m trying to get the hang of this “animatic” thing. So I made this using the audio from Snapcube’s Sonic Real time Fandub. I’ve never done an animatic like this before so it’s a little rough, but I want to keep making these and get better.
Shadow’s arms are solid red just to save me from some headaches.

That being said, though a lot of people use the term "animatic" for pieces like this, what you got here is a few steps past a true animatic.
Animatics aren't often heavily animated and more intended to rough out how an animation will work, using directional lines for movements and planning out the camera, lighting, background, ext. Most won't have color either. Basically an animatic is about the stage after story boarding, before making the first draft of a finished version.
This is closer to a finished animation then an animatic.
Which kinda makes this even more impressive for what you've done.
The little bit of choppiness or jumping in the frames in this could be smoothed out with a few more in between frames in place, but otherwise this is honestly really good.
