Who Are The Menaces?

Around this time last year I went to a concert for a band called @ticklemeemoband with some friends. Sometime after that I created a group chat called The Menaces.

The original goal for this group was to create a safe place for people to be the most authentic versions of themselves possible and to have fun doing it. Eventually a few of us decided to check out the karaoke done by the singer of Tickle Me Emo @mickvalentinemcmv and from there The Menaces grew in such a way that I could have never really predicted.

The group grew in numbers over time, those of us at it's core watching as it went from a cluster of people who maybe were looking for a place to fit in or just were looking for a good time into the Community it is now. In many cases supporting each other in ways I thought were only possible in fiction.

I've wanted to create a design for the group for some time now & what better time than now to mark the anniversary of something that has become so special to me & others in the group.

I genuinely couldn't ask for a greater group of friends or a better chosen family.
