The almost full moon helped me in my night time endeavors... wasn't much happening to the left so decided to crop itAnd before anyone else asks.. the sparks are from steel wool

Impressive and really cool.
The rock actually looks cropped from the sand in this lighting, especially on the left.

Thankyou Yes the dark edges/vignette to the right kinda give away the crop'ness

Theres not really much to tell.. heres how i light it [link] and heres what i do with it [link] make sure you use something that won't melt(for the string to spin) like speaker wire

thanks! thats just the exposure time 135/1 = 135seconds = 2mins 15seconds the internet seems to turn the info into fractions...
