I was born with these hands instead of hooves in order to show you feelings.And I speak for many.
...We hope that some day you will grow up and realize that we are people too, not things to be used. We cannot speak, and our instincts bind us in ways that make us easy to control, but this does not make us mere meat.

Yep.. I've always felt this way about animals.... I mean that they and the world are not here just to be consumed by us. I liked the ways of the Native Americans who killed and took only what they truly needed, they used every bit of the animal (down to the bone), and did not waste living things just for the sport of it all. They showed respect to everything they killed. Too many people out there simply enjoy the sport too much,...to the point where they will try to defend their actions with "reason". All it is, is greed they are not willing to give up for the sake of anything or anyone, so that they may go on and misuse the land and creatures we have been given access to. We may think ourselves highly intelligent because we can build cities, cars, and computers, but there are many different forms of intelligence. I think we're definitely missing something.

Not all horses are easily trained, they have the will power to resist, some do anyway.... At least there used to be, I wonder are they all gone? Very moving picture by the way.
