Description
This wasn't the first time Marlow crashed on Shelly's couch and it wouldn't be his last.

After the incident with the fishing net, he had been frequenting her house boat to either loaf around or get a hot meal. Marlow normally lived at the nook, but he never felt at home. However, for some reason he gravitated towards Shelly and her egg. They were more welcoming than anyone at the nook, and they treated him like family. As time went on, Marlow found himself spending more and more time with Shelly. Eventually, he was spending four to five days a week sleeping over. That's when Shelly put her foot down; she might as well adopt him if he was going to live here anyways.
