I'm in a bit of an art high today! Another drawing that's been sitting around unfinished. Glad I could finally put this together with the new meme format. I need to get these memes out of the way for Ryan and Liesie so I can develop Harriet some more...
__________
5-9 years: Ryan was kind of a sweet child. His dad was always sad and crying, so whenever he came across anyone who was feeling down, he did all he could to bring a smile to their face. He usually trailed behind his sister, and was kind of mellow for a kid, but he started getting a bit mischievous around 8 when he picked up a nasty habit of lying.
10-14 years: Being influenced by his siblings and his peers, Ryan got himself into trouble easy. He used lying as a way to cope with his poverty, but most of his peers caught onto him rather quickly and he became an outcast. Around 13-14 he dropped the lying thing and tried to be himself and people seemed to accept him, but after the years of self-inflicted public humiliation in front of them, he became socially anxious and kept his friend group small.
15-18 years: Something about Ryan changed drastically during this period. He seldom talked to people, including the handful of friends he had, and poured his heart into his studies. It was impossible to catch the kid without a book in his hands (most of the time he'd be fast asleep inside of them), or fiddling with the toys in his dad's garage. He also went back to his old habit of lying again, but kept it focused on his feelings about others and his family life. He started wearing glasses in his later teen years, when his peers began to notice and point out the lack of color in his eyes.
Present: Ryan today! Local Nerd in the engineering room.
