Merry Christmas, everypony! I hope you're having a good time with your family and friends.This is one of many similar-looking Christmas images you'll see, I'm sure, but I hope you'll like it anyway.

That's a wonderful view through the window as the gang celebrates Christmas and their friendship. Using the window (and its distinctive tracery) is a nice way to frame the scene so that there's a quiet to the scene even if there's some talking and laughing going on. The flowers and leaves are a great border too. "Lifting" the scene by curving the perspective worked great too, otherwise they'd be small and probably overlapping. It also allows a nice view of the fireplace (which I assume is magical since the idea of having a fireplace inside an old tree...) and Christmas tree.
It's sweet that Spike can at least be with them even if it's past his usual bedtime. (A little past 9:00 PM it looks like.
The simpler representations of their cutie marks look good for the stockings, and I like that Spike has a symbol of his own too.
I hope your Christmas is at least as happy.

Aside from the content I find this image to be quiet dull. There is nothing that really stands out and it may be because of the glass. It seems to have given everything a light white/grey tone to it, even if just slightly.

I noticed first the color was slightly dull, not much at all to worry about I would say since that could be my computer. Though I was looking at the image more, trying to figure out why I didn't find it interesting, and there doesn't seem to much of a focus. Don't get me wrong, the picture is done technically well and it looks good but there is a lot going on. I guess its not that there is to much going on but each character seems to be segregated from the other and so it spreads out how connected the image is. If there was more focus, grouping the characters together, or even having some of them interacting would give something interesting to focus on, something less predictable. That's all I can say about it, just thought I would give my critique.

Hmm, interesting. Yeah, you have a valid point. They're not doing anything together so there is no real focus. I did that so there was a lot to look at, though.

Ah, no problem, just wanted to say what I thought. Also you can give a lot to look at without there actually being a lot to look at. As in less "objects" in an image doesn't mean there is less to look at especially if there is stuff happening

Thanks. I personally find "love and tolerate" to be a stupid motto, or at least misinterpreted. It should really be read as "be kind to others and respect their differences". I just try to be nice to people.
