Woo, finally got this done! I forced myself to finish this before I watched the new episode, so I'm gonna go watch it now.
Enjoy! I'll think of a better title later. 
Maybe.I think I'm gonna lay off the comics for a while. They take forever! I'm sticking with single-panel images for while, like I've been doing.

This is so wonderfully lovely. It feels just like something out of a Calvin & Hobbes comic, and I mean that in the most complimentary fashion possible.

That's lovely, funny and very well played. Poor Applejack, but fortunately she's pretty forgiving about these kinds of things.
It's put together perfectly, with a great opening to set the scene, a quick series to show what's happening and who's doing what, and a perfect ending. All of the panels were great, so I can perfectly understand why you're tuckered out on comics. Thirteen pictures! all fairly detailed and some very much so. Sweetie Belle was hilarious with the brush in her mouth. (Poor thing has to swab the deck by herself.) Really nice job on the surfacing kraken too, and I loved the fillies' expressions as they prepared to fire. (Apple Bloom looks pretty nervous there but she still did a great job defending the ship.) Pip was terrific throughout too, and it's fun to see him making friends (with some decent ponies) so quickly.
