For as long as Robbie Forsyth could remember, He wanted to follow in his last father foot step and be a Starfleet captain one day but end up failing to get in. So He turn to joining the United earth first fleet and become helmsman of the USS San Jose, An Old Daedalus class built post Romulan war.

There he is made helmsman and meet fellow crewmate Tomas Maxwell but find they don't quiet get along, A rivalry is formed between the two that soon get out of hand.

So some BIG changes to the Star Trek Dumfries lore:

One: How old is Robbie basically, Over the years I notice that made mistake when it come to Robbie age and how old he would have been in starfleet. He is canonical thirty by the time he command the Dumfries, Making him youngest captain in the fleet instead of kirk. He was eight years old during the four years war and would have been around for most of the Gorn conflict from SNW, Just shy of twenty-one.

So this is me putting my foot down, This is now his true age.

Two: Robbie rivalry with Tomas, This was something I've been trying to add for awhile but never got around too. If you remember the Original 2nd Dumfries class that was destroyed in a bombing, Tomas was meant to be one behind it and try to frame Robbie for it.

I'm using this story to explain why he did that.

Three: started off in the First fleet before transferring to starfleet proper, The Polaris has been apart of the Dumfries Universe since I started doing this story on Deviant art (Which was 10 years ago, Jesus.) but They have offend being relegated to background characters and having a big role. This was originally due to the kzinti plotline of his stories (Those darn dirty cats), I was working on my own kzinti story at the time and it conflicted with his. I was making them more like a race that hunt for sports and films it for some reason, Well the kzinti ended up being put to the side as I didn't have a use for them...until now.

I am keeping them as how the First fleet use them, Just bit of tweaking to make stand out better from the SNW Gorn. (It funny that the Gorn are taking a vey similar role, Being that they hunt other aliens for food or as incubators for their young.)

So there you have it, The New and improved backstory of Captain Forsyth.
