Description
This metal miniature is a micromachine size Class-J Merchantman cargo ship, always used by civilians. Depending on the era (23rd or 24th Century) it has simply impulse with limited warp speed, or can make Warp 5 or 6. The cargo holds usually carry...well, cargo, but can of course carry passengers as well. This spaceframe was first seen in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, ferrying the spy Valkress, and was blown out of the sky by Christopher Lloyd playing a Klingon (you remember him as Doc Brown.) The same model was used and reused on Star Trek many times, even as a Cardassian freighter. The paintjob on screen is usually copper, but I wanted to differentiate it as a 24th Century freighter, so I painted it Taxi-yellow.
