I'm a bit uneasy about uploading this one here because of the background. As you can see I "borrowed" it from the anime, but I did a bit of rendering, so I'm praying to not get in trouble because of it.This is the last request I'll be doing in a while. This is for He asked for Future Trunks in SSJ3 form, preparing for battle. Since I'm useless with this kind of poses, I took as reference this deviation [link]
I'm well aware that this is full of mistakes, and the hair, well that is just down right ugly. But I couldn't care anymore. This took me long enough time as it is.
PS: The ssj3 form is such a pain to draw

You may not be very happy with the hair at least it is original and suits Trunks very well. The Dragon Ball Hero's version sucks because they were lazy and used Goku's hair. Only difference I would maybe suggest is to have made the hair a little fuller on top of his head, other then that I think you did an wonderful job (as you always do, anyway).

Yeah, I noticed that Trunks hair could have a few more spikes, but when I did realized that I was already far ahead in the coloring process. I just didn't feel like changing the lineart by that point.

You have got so much more better about drawing and coloring 
I can agree with you, though, SSJ3 forms are sometimes pain in the ass. I have draw SSJ3 Goku few times and it's just so hard to do that I haven't done him in that form in ages... >_>
But anyway, this art is mind blowing and amazing! Plus, stop worrying about "borrowing" the background from the anime

Still, I needed to used a lot of referencing. The holding-a-sword pose was driving me insane. And the hair? I lost count on how many times I sketch it down, and yet this was the best I could do. I love the ssj3 form, but I avoid drawing as much as possible
The background, I wanted to draw something of my own, but I was too tired for that. I spend an entire day on this, believe it or not. So after watching the "new" Dragon Ball Kai episode, that was with Mirai Trunks going back to his time line and kicking some Android ass, I couldn't resist to use a screenshot from that episode, I just had to paint the floor he's standing on

Yeah, I guess that why some pro artists advice us to work on the background first. But I never do that 
Leaving the backgrounds to someone else to paint doesn't sound at all like a bad idea, but let's face it, not many people like to work on backgrounds, it's such a pain XD
