9" x 12" Oil on canvas; painted with favorite palette knifeI must write here that my favorite palette knife which I have had and used exclusively since the mid 1970s broke in half while doing this painting
Β I would have worked on it more but simply stopped... (Do have other knives and now will have to start using them...well, maybe!!) Β

One thing is certain, Carolyn: I would be unable to make such a nice winter landscape, with or without a broken knife... it clearly calls to mind a

I'm so sorry for you, dear Carolyn. If you worked so much time with a special knife, it's difficult to use another one. But you will get use to it...I'm sure.
And I'm looking forward to see work of you made with another knife.
