Major Eka Sultan looked around. His eyes scanned the horizon. Then he pointed his finger. "I think a plateau there looks good. Our chopper could land there," he observed, "What do you think Sylvie?" he asked his second in command.

Sylvia agreed with him. "That's good. I'll set up a landing pad there."

"What about security?" Eka's head moved right and left nervously. He was worried the alien might attack. Besides, in this god forsaken planet, anything could happen in a minute. One week ago, a patrol was ambushed by Level 3 and 4. Luckily, no casualties on them.

"Alpha is still moving," answered Silvia calmly. "Meanwhile the others are set in position."

"Good. Call Eagle now. We need those supplies yesterday."

"May I speak freely?"

"Granted."

"Eka," Sylvia called him softly, with his nickname. "You don't have to come here. Just send us Dolls to handle it and-"

Eka responded angrily. He looked Sylvia straight in the eye. "And let those monsters slaughter all of you? Turn your inside out while I shit my pants at base? The answer still no. I am coming with you and that is final."

His eyes was shiny. Sylvia could see he tried his best to hold back his tears, but to no avail. "Understood. I will call Eagle now."
