I read your description long after I had collected and viewed this piece of art many times. It has many other meanings for me, but neat to see it was about investments... The style is excellent. The red is love....he's in God's hand.....Or it could be the elder generation in the hands of the youth - red being the risk involved these days with being elderly....the list goes on and on!

As a social worker, retired due to disability and not age, this painting really spoke out to me. It moved me deeply, reminding me of why I spent those years in Grad School.

This is a very important subject, atleast in finland the elderly are treated not at all with the respect they should be. Your work never let's me down, it's always beautiful and thoughtful!

Colors are awesome, the red and greyish work really well together. I'd like to see a closer crop though but I suppose for a magazine they would want to be able to crop it themselves at their convenience... but if I would choose a new crop for this I'd probably crop it so close that you wouldn't see the shirt of the hand holding the old man. Conceptually there is nothing to say really, I mean change nothing. I think it's a heart felt and well done illustration, and I think they will love it very much.

I love the accent on color, but I think that the hand's sleeve should have been better developed to continue the motion created between the curve of the hand and the wrist. Other than that I cannot critique.
