Leafpool and Mothwing arent actually that far apart in age. In fact, they are very close in age if Im remembering correctly.
Medicine cat apprentices dont typically receive their full name when they reach a certain age, but rather when their mentor or leader feels they are ready. So their names are irrelevant.

No. In the first book of the second arc, Leafpool was a still an apperantice like in the mid of her training, and mothwing was a warrior and she was waiting to a sign so she could be a medicine cat. This ship is pedophile. Most of the ships in warriors are pedophile.

Comparing a slight age gap to pedophilia seems like WAY too big of a stretch for their relationship.
Leafpaw at the time was not a naive child, nor was she being manipulated by Mothwing in any way. Mothwing and Hawkfrost were both newer warriors and were nowhere near retiring to become elders(Unlike Thistleclaw in βSpottedleafβs Heartβ which is a huge example of pedophilia)
Unlike Mothwing and Leafpaw, Thistleclaw was old and close to retirement. Not only that, his inappropriate behavior towards Spottedpaw began when she was just a kit. A very young kit at the time.
Pedophilia isnβt used to describe a small age difference, but rather used when an adult is being manipulative or taking advantage of a small child(Which is most definitely not the case with the βMothpoolβ ship)

Actually, one of the erins ( I can't exactly remember which one) said that Ravenpaw and Barley were mates. In reality, Leafpool would pick Crowfeather because there was nothing between her and Mothwing in the series, though I do ship them. In my opinion (not saying it's a fact, just my opinion ) I think Crowfeather's heart belongs with Feathertail, because when she died, he kept himself in deep depression, and all he ever wanted was to be the best warrior he could be, and then join Feathertail in StarClan. Heck, he even named himself after her to remember her. He then fell in love with Leafpool, and wanted to give up everything to be with her, but she chose her clan. After that, their relationship faltered, and he still cares for her very much, but they are no longer mates. So I truly think he would choose Feathertail. But again, that's just my opinion.Β
