Fanart of Hollow Ichigo~ Somehow I found him really cool (ok, he's scary, but his badass-ness out weigh it all~) I guess it's the mysteriousness about him that makes him more interesting
And "bankai" Zanketsu kick ass~ 
On a side note.... Ichigo is damn hard to draw...... T_T

Have you perhaps thought that maybe someone submitted it to them claiming it was a scan? Since this scene never actually happened in the anime, there shouldn't be a divx logo unless someone put it there on purpose. Maybe to make it look like it's not fanart? And had you also noticed that said "scan" is actually as vertically distorted version of this deviant's fanart. The "scanner" squished it so that the dimensions would be correct (640x480) for a screencap.

Did you actually look at her gallery or just the 4 most recent works? Those are oekaki and of course would not look the same as something done in Open Canvas. Her work is VERY consistent and VERY awesome.
Do you have proof that the image was in Anime Galleries since February 2005? If you assume that their scans are posted soon after each episode airs, you can look at the scans before and after that one was submitted and see that it was submitted during the time of episode 54 which aired on October 18, 2005. Oh yes, and the episode where ichigo is first taken over by hollow ichi while using his bankai (ep 59) aired on November 22, 2005.
There are tons of derivations of this deviation on the web (example: [link] ). cat-cat's work is the largest and clearest of them all. This and the previously stated evidence makes it clear to me that cat-cat is the original artist not a thief.

To cat-cat: Don't let these idiots discourage your work. Another great anime fanartist had so many of her works removed after people saw them spread around the web and reported her that she became very discouraged about sharing her artwork with the online community and has almost totally quit. She has a very distinctive style that is easy to recognize. I wish people would just take the time to think instead of assuming that the place THEY saw the work FIRST was the original and not automatically decide the work on deviantART was not the original and report it. DA does not have time to investigate these things, so they just remove them and wonderful art is lost from the community.

Simply Beautiful. Ichigo truly is an awesome guy but as usual, I prefer Byakuya or Hitsugaya's Bankai to Ichigo. But I love how he condenses it all into such a small size. It improves a lot of areas in his fighting whereas that gigantic Butcher's knife was just amusing to witness. AnywayZ, I like this. Magnificent work of art.

O: I'll agree that Ichigo is hard to draw (which is odd considering his deviously simple looking design), but you've captured him perfectly.
