Personally I cant stand it. Because it would not let me add text to a visual poem and no matter what I did I kept getting error messages plus it would not let me choose what catogories to put my stories in so that I was forced to put them in the wrong ones.

pretty sweet. but...maybe you can explain why i need to choose my file twice in order to submit it? choosing my file and then choosing the image of my file seems redundant.
but honestly, it's damn cool even with that redundancy. =]

in case you uploaded more then one file? say zip file and preview image. or 10 images at same time, and then returned to post them.

Ooh. thats brilliant. In the submission process, you can choose the size its viewed at fullview (eg. 800 or 600 wide so it doesent go off the screen), but it still can be downloaded at its origonal size? is that right? Also, What is the function of the "Keep source file in this temporary..." above the Fullview size bar?

correct. it can still be downloaded as original size if you checked it. "Keep source .." option is for those who may need this file for later (like for print) and dont wanna upload it again.

Why does "Enable deviantMOBILE and blog access" have to be AUTOMATICALLY selected?! Wouldn't it be better if it was a choice to click it? Then people wouldn't have to worry if they accidently skipped over that or something. Shouldn't "Mature content" then be automatically selected too? That way no mature deviation is shown on accident. Maybe this has been mentioned already, but I wouldn't know. The new process looks very sleek! Great to have it updated so nicely

The problem with this idea is that who would be then censoring our art us or them. I have worked with these programs before and I have seen them make a story mature. When all you did was say the word tittys. This would make the workers at DA have to work even harder. Because they would be besieged by complaints. Computers as smart as they are. But they cant choose what content is and what it is not without reading the story first, and then understanding what is mature content for each person. Also different countries have different ideas as to what mature content is. For example nudity is considered bad in the United States A supposedly free country. But Violence like seeing a mans head cut off is considered OK. But in Europe Nudity is allowed and violence to the degree America allows is considered to mature for people in certain age groups. In India a bikini is considered nude. So as you can see this should be left to the person who created the art in the first place and if they don't know then they can ask the help desk. Personally I cant stand this new way of uploading deviations. I have already had a lot of trouble with it. It would not let me choose what to call my own art. I downloaded visual and it would allow me to call visual simply I included text.

I didn't mean that the "Mature content" would be automatically selected if the image/text had mature content in it, but that it would just be automatically selected anyway, even if there wasn't anything "mature" about the artwork. I suppose I could say I was being sarcastic in a way. Sorry you're having trouble with the new system. It worked fine with me.

OOPs sorry I honestly didnt know you were being sarcastic. LOL yeah its ok I just hate this new thing. i prefer the old system over this. It took me 1 hour yesterday to download 2 deviations
