This picture inspired a poem i wrote...
He never came,
He said he would
So she waits in silence
She thinks she should
In the dark,
With only a tear,
She cries in silence,
For darkness is her fear,
And now she sees he isnβt coming,
That all he said wasnβt true,
She just wants to walk up to his face,
And say, βfuck you!β
But she cannot do so,
For what if she wasnβt right,
And he soon will be coming,
To hold her tight,
That glimmer of hope,
Soon fades away,
As the sun rise,
And itβs a new day,
But still she will wait,
Alone in fear,
For him to come,
And dry her tear,
Sheβll wait forever,
For his return,
But heβll live his life,
Without a burn,
From her corner,
The world is cold,
But she will wait there forever,
Her story untold,
Life out side goes on,
The world keeps turning,
But in her soul,
Sheβll keep on yearning.
