Description Sesshoumaru and Kikyou just feeling each others presence, in a spring day...

This drawing is one of the tests I wanted to do... The original size was 3508 x 2480 pixels (the size I plan to make the commissions). I also tried a new way to make the background and some lighting effects.

This is also my entry for the Spring 2012 Challenge at group. If you are a Sesshoumaru/Kikyou fan, come join us and check out the challenge.

The line art and colors were done in Paint Tool Sai, the background and effects in Photoshop 7.

you're amazing!you're fantastic!Cati! this is my favorite scenery of your SessKik arts so far!!It really gives off a realistic feeling like I'm standing there watching Sesshoumaru and Kikyou meditating. they look so calm peaceful and relieved which we don't usually see them this way individually. but when they're together it's just...if there's anyone Kikyou could ever turst when closing her eyes that person is definitely going to be Sesshoumaru, vice versa. and one more thing every one of your SessKik artworks show a very strong emotion especially this one. you love them so much and it all reveals on your artworks!oh my god I can't even make myself understood I guess...

Aww, you're too kind, Ann! Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked this scenery. I'm practicing to improve more and more on making backgrounds. And exactly! I also feel that a moment of trust like that would be so meaningful for Sesshoumaru and Kikyou.

I'm really glad to know my love for them can be seeing in my works. The reason why I really started drawing and want to keep improving is to create the best SessKik fanarts that I can. They are my main inspiration.
