i read somewhere that since they closed his area and never bothered to do anything with him he got the way he is because no one repaired him or did anything for him .
so it somewhat does have something to do with the bite of '87 i think ???

Yeah, I think he bit the child in '87, and they closed him down, maybe the moths got to him or something.

He might of gotten shut down after the Bite (which I'm assuming he caused) and the moths got him. Or the workers had to beat him up to get him off of that kid's forehead.
