Description My final submission for game artisans "Chicks Riding Stuff" contest. Pretty happy with how it came out and I learned alot about texturing metal with diffuse only, so its was a fun experience.

Thats a good practice though, given enough time you'll be able to produce amazingly detailed results in no time

Very nice.

but the porportions of the girl are a bit off. i guess the result would look more naturalistic if you get her a ratio between waist and upper/lower body of 0.7. but given that your approach of the body is realistic a thin waistline like this gives more the impression that something is odd with the proportions.

the tires need some more sides to give the illusion of beeing round

Looks really good Nice topology!
Have to ask though, the middles of the tyres/hubcaps.. does that have any more divisions on it and the wireframe isn't showing them or are they really just big n-gons? The rest of the model looks like its all quads and tris but that's just glaring at me.
Really loving your texture work too
I really envy your talent, I have to do 3d modelling at university but I really don't have the patience or drive for it

Actually you could get 24 sides in there and it'd be fine for in game.

For ingame sure, but something to take into account is that this is for a competition that sets a poly limit. So while it would be fine to add a bit to the model without making it unusable, doubling the number of sides on each tire likely would have put it over the poly count for the competition getting it disqualified.

Very nice work!
But even for a stylized character maybe she's a bit too thin? I think it would look better if you filled out the sides a bit more.
But that's just me.

When I saw this, the very first thought was I really really hate her waistline. It's just painfully too small, makes me think she'll snap in two any moment. If she was a stylized 3D character, it would be ok. But as much as I'm looking at her, the rest of her anatomy seems pretty realistic. I personally am all for a slim waist, but this is a little too far.

Anyway, excellent work there. Her outfit is definitely my favourite part.

Sorry but his project is long past done lol, though I see a TON of things I could improve upon its just better for me to not make the same mistakes on my next piece rather than fix up this one.

Could always keep an eye out for my newer works, I always appreciate peoples opinions

Like anything it takes ALOT of practice and making ALOT of mistakes, its kinda hard for me because I dont have a traditional art background, but If you understand color theory and human anatomy that makes doing great 3d work alot easier.

Thanks Ya the motorcycle can be tweaked, you thinkin sleeker like the bikes from TRON, or more along the lines of a dirt bike?
