Really great job on seeing another new Gargoyles OC from you, man. I'm nearly done with the last 3 drawings for my Aztec Clan, and am working on the Sioux Clan (which are going to be animal-based gargoyles who are natives of the Plains). Always enjoyed the Indian cultures and stories.
Started on 4 horse garg males and 3 horse gargresses, yet it'll take me a while to do the research on both the Sioux Native American tribe and the Iroqoui Clans as well as finding suitable names. Already found an old drawing I did of my Gargoyles OC, Thunderbird, who's the new leader of the Iroquoi Clan in 1998 with a young human woman, Leonna and her baby girl = a serious revamp! YAY!
Okay, this is just a simple question. Does anyone here on DA know the English meaning of the Sioux words for Dustdevil (m), Shadowcloud (male), Snow("Istas" in Sioux) Cloud female), Sunsong, and Star (f)? I'd greatly appreciate any more names for my lovely Sioux gargoyle-warrior maidens.
