Arven jest dość nietypowym zjawiskiem w Edenie. Jest jedną z nielicznych mrocznych elfów, a być może i jedyną, która żyje poza ich rodzimą planetą Elian. Dzięki niezwykłemu biegowi wydarzeń cudem uniknęła śmierci w trakcie Mrocznej Czystki Ezekiela z Bursztynowej Wieży, będąc zabrana z planety jako niewolnica wpływowego wysokiego elfa.
Na obcej planecie z dala od domu nabyła wiedzę o magii krwi, którą wykorzystała by skraść życie i moc swojego właściciela. Dzięki nowo nabytej mocy Arven była w stanie wykraść pojazd kosmiczny i zbiec ku nieznanym gwiazdom w poszukiwaniu lepszego życia.
W trakcie swych podróży Arven miała wiele czasu na udoskonalenie swoich nowo nabytych zdolności w manipulacji krwi i mroku to takiego stopnia by nikt nie był w stanie zagrozić jej życiu jak i wolności. W końcu natrafiła na jedną z planet należących do Strzaskanego Imperium krasnoludów z Tormingaru, na której to zaciągnęła się jako najemnik. Z początku nie pałający entuzjazmem krasnoludzi chcieli wykorzystać młodą najemniczkę jako mięso armatnie w jednej z ze swych niezliczonych kampanii wojennych dla zabicia czasu. Szybko jednak zmienili nastawienie widząc jak elfka sama podbija obóz nieprzyjaciela bez większego wysiłku. Przerażeni na widok jej niecodziennej magii ale i pełni podziwu zaproponowali jej miejsce w armii, jednak Arven odmówiła. Po skończonej kampanii odebrała należną jej zapłatę i zniknęła tak szybko jak się pojawiła w poszukiwaniu swojego miejsca w Edenie.

Arven is a fairly unusual phenomenon in Eden. She is one of the few dark elves, and perhaps the only one that lives outside of their home planet Elian. Thanks to the unusual course of events, she miraculously escaped death during the Dark Purge of Ezekiel of the Amber Tower, by being taken from the planet as a slave to an influential high elf. On an alien planet far from home, she acquired knowledge of blood magic, which she used to steal the life and power of her owner. Thanks to her newly acquired power, Arven was able to steal a spaceship and flee to unknown stars in search of a better life. During her travels, Arven had a lot of time to perfect her newfound skills in manipulating blood and darkness to such an extent that no one would be able to threaten her life and freedom. Eventually, she found one of the planets of the Shattered Empire of the Dwarves of Tormingar, on which she enlisted as a mercenary. At first, the unenthusiastic dwarves wanted to use the young mercenary as cannon fodder in one of their countless war campaigns to pass the time. However, they quickly changed their attitude, seeing how the elf herself conquers the enemy camp without much effort. Terrified at the sight of her unusual magic, but full of admiration, they offered her a place in the army, but Arven refused. After the campaign was over, she collected her payment and disappeared as soon as she appeared in search of her place in Eden.
