Just a couple of words on the screen
Pour in your thoughts and empty your mind
For other people to come and to find
Nothing more than some words on a page
That will succumb to very old age
If knowledge is equivalent power
Then the possible power grows by the hour
Things may come and things may go
But why don't we just take things slow?
Treasure the words and findings of others
And consider people as if they were brothers
Come together and rejoice
For meaning is found in my voice
I may have the words but not much to say
But I carry on writing anyway
To tell the world of what could be
If they were to open their eyes and see
That these few words that you've just read
Have stopped to make you think of what was said
