Darkness. All she was saw was darkness as she walked through what seemed like the halls of the Sanctum. Her home back in NYC. Ruby was familiar with her surroundings but this Sanctum felt different. It didn’t feel like home. Most of the building was crumbling or even flooded near the entrance that once led to the upstairs rooms.
“Hello?...” Ruby murmured as she stared at the photos she passed by. Among the pictures, one caught her eye. It didn't take long for her eyes to widen as she recognized the figures in the picture. Three people: Stephen, Christine, and an eight-year-old girl. The child version of her. “What?...” Ruby shook her head confused not understanding what was happening. “This isn’t right… i was… still in Ohio at this point why am i-” Before the spy could ask herself anything else she heard a familiar voice. Then she woke up with a fright.
Ruby is suddenly in the dream realm of the Multiverse. just before the chaos of Multiverse of Madness happens. what she doesn't realize is shes in Sinister Strange's universe. in this universe he and Christine adopted her... then Strange lost her when his accident happened
