Description
This is one thing I did in the fall for my sci fi illustration class, it may look finished but this is actually still a work in progress. I'm planning on redoing everything except the dragon, putting him in a different setting, adding other characters, etc. Just wanted to post this for now but expect an update at some point. The dragon is really well done... the setting definitely lacks the same attention to detail.

Sweet! I especially admire the horn and spike detailing; the folds in the wing membranes are quite impressive, too.
It looks like the Hungarian Horntail from Harry Potter.

wow, thats amazing! i've just started to dabble in photoshop painting, it would be really interesting to know what brushes you used.
Having said that, you probably used heaps. I'd love to know what brushes you used for the dragon and the smoke, they both look amazing.
also, what size canvas was it painted on, i always end up with one thats too big, or too small so the details look too pixilated.
