He was born in Spain, however his owners there didn't know what they were doing, they tried to make him into a dressage horse using abusive methods, he couldn't do the dressage gaits due to his breeding or earned them any placings in the dressage ring, they got frustrated with him and sold him on. Despite this, his previous owners, Sparrow Performance Horses, did well in letting him be his natural self in his actual discipline, and he doesn't have lameness issues either, we bought him as a 5 year old off Sparrow Performance Horses and since then he's been living his best life, despite his past issues.
