ARG! Second submission...stupid da...Anyways...I forgot what I said before so I shall ramble further.The sorta how to draw Mighty the Armadillo guide. As I said when I first submitted this, it was hard to do a tutorial because drawing is really second nature to me, like tying my shoes, and it was hard for me to break down the process in order to show people how it's done. And it really isn't a "how it's done" as much as it is "how I do it"
I don't think there's really a "process" because by the time you get the nack of drawing you kinda have your own process. But here's a slight hint into my thinking. To do this I took out my sketchbook and started drawing Mighty. I would stop at what I thought would be key points and just scan it, then keep drawing. I didn't want to have to stop and start again (as I was doing at first). Oh well i hope you all find this usefull to some extent...sorry to those of you who faved it before I deleted it...

someone asked me to draw a guide to sonic, thing is i dont use the circle method so i had alittle bit of trouble drawing it. but the scanning idea is a good idea, saves paper too

- So, yeah. And why he is jealous? Probably because of what he and I learned from this particular guy. Have you ever heard of Nuclear Envoy? He's the maker of the concept-mobius site. It pretty much explains everything having to do with each Sonic universe, the characters, and the fandom. If you haven't heard of it, I'll give ya the link.

Also, if you've heard of "Ulta", I'm a friend/co-worker of hers. I lead a flash group called "Ultimate Lifeforms", and she's an animator.
I'm sorry. I digress a lot. Darky's probably all "Rawr" about the whole 'fancharacters with intimate relations with official characters thing'. Actually, it could be any of the things from the concept-mobius site...Whell, feel free to check it out.

but yeah I decided not to pay too much attention to concept mobius. I have no idea who died and made the creator the boss of our fandom and gave him the right to lay down "the rules" and what not. But I could be here all day flaming that guy. I think that site is rediculous. I mean he trashes characters that use magic! I can understand that to some extent but please. You're not the boss of anyone...but I digress myself. I'll pair whoever with whatever and as long as their personalities match up and such I really don't care who pairs their chars with official characters. Anyway I'm gonna shut up now because I really dislike that site and I regret signing up to their forum.

If it did, it's not my opinion. That would be Envoy's.
Envoy's not an ass, but he's a tad BOLD, in the sense that he disapproves of a lot of fancharacter things, though he is right about a lot. But I guess as long as it's an 'innocent' pairing, (and by innocent, I mean nothing innapropriate, or having to do with 'hent' or anything of that sort.) I suppose it's alright.

Perfect just perfect! Thank you for going to such great lengths for me, man it's a bit easier than I first thought. Now I can get a rollin' on some better Mighty pics. Definately worth the wait since I'll need this guide later when I work on 's giftart.

Whoo! Awesomeness ^^ Yeah you're way of drawing Sonic characters is only slightly different from mine.
Like for me, I tend to add quite a bit of detail to the head, and THEN do the body and such...
But this still gave me some good pointers (like the muzzle issue...that's always hard for me to figure out the placement XD )

Cool pic. I love the end result, such a cool looking Mighty. I never really got the drawing circles and such before doing the actually drawing. I like just starting with the drawing. When i try to lay the picture out its never how i want it so i dont bother. You should color that Mighty, or maybe i could? I think i want to try drawing Mighty. You got me hooked on him now.
