It's just a coded reaction. There's a problem, the hammer can fix it. But in some cases that may not be such a good idea.

I wonder what would happen if a Cy-bug ate Felix' hammer..

It seems that that could work two ways. One' the cybug would actually fix everything it touched, so it really couldnt' cause any damage. OR it would become unstoppable as it could instantly heal itself.

Ralph just smashes them. But if you watch closely when Felix hits them they shrink back into eggs. So in a sense he is 'fixing' them or returning them to their original state!

It was when i figured out what was going on. The first half of the game I tried to keep Felix away from everything, thinking that since he was the fixer he had no defenses. I was wrong.

*Calhoun jumps behind Vanellope*
Felix: TAMI!
Calhoun: You stay away from him, you overgrown flying PARASITE! *shoots, bug blows up, splattering green goo everywhere*
Vanellope: Ewwwwgh!
Calhoun: That was either the bravest thing, or the stupidest thing I've ever seen, Von Shweets. You could have gotten yourself eaten!
*turns to Felix, kneels down* You ok, Fix-it?
Felix: Yes, I am now!
Calhoun: *Grabs him into a tight hug* That took a lot of guts, 8-bits. Butyou should have atleast gotten a weapon or somethin before you went and did something like that! You don't just run up to a cy-bug unarmed!
Felix: But he was trying to attack our building! I couldn't just...I had to keep the Nicelander's safe...
Calhoun: *sigh* I know. I'm just worried about ya, Felix. I mean, I leave ya alone for a while, and you're in trouble again! *smirk, kisses his cheek* I'm proud of ya, soldier.
Vanellope: Whazzat for?
Calhoun: What? Every hero deserves one! *winks @ Felix, who blushes*
