Description The girl of the tower.

I began this almost immediately after seeing the amazingness which is Tangled back in November. It started as a gouache painting but I didn't get very far because of projects. When I finally returned to it, I noticed so many things I felt were wrong, so i re-drew it, scanned it, began it, put it off for a month or two due to portfolio, and here it is! The pose for Rapunzel was inspired by two Mucha works combined.

oh, god... well, the idea of "the girl of the tower" like a card of Tarot is good (but it's only my view, isn' it?)... but, do you know Odette of Swan lake cartoon? no? well, it's identical... dress and everything else...

wow! I really like it! It's not completely Disney, it actually looks like one of those old illustrations of this fairy tale, before disney did their version. Its a very personal interpretation

This is absolutely gorgeous and amazing - Just like the film....

I love how you made it noticeable Mucha, but so much your own style.... It's simply an excellent blending of those things.

Oh I am just in love with this. Tangled soooo got a place among my ultimate Disney favorites (placed itself very high on the list- one of the elite spots in which there can be no order), and whenever I see any fan stuff based on the movie or characters, I'm hesitant to look, because some people botch it, and then it's in my head. But I ADORE this, extremely!!
