Reminds me heavily of the Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, the icecrown glacier.
Was it perhaps one of the references you used when developing this concept?
Anyways.
Pros: I love the snow / wind effect, it really does give a feel of actually being in that scene, as opposed to trying to imagine it. Just vague enough not to be annoying, i really do love it.
The spikyness of the road and the mountain adds extra feel to the whole scene, and the light sourcing is brilliant, especially atop the peak.
Cons: As with some of your previous paintings, i do feel that it lacks some sort of focus. While its clear that you were aiming to present the mountain as the epicentre of attention, the fact that the right side feels very empty gives a feeling that perspective is a bit skewed, as well as just feeling somewhat awkward in my eyes. I would say that this arrives from distancing from the mountain a bit too much - perhaps if you "zoomed in" a bit, thus reducing the empty right side, it would look a bit better - but thats just me guessing.
Dont take me wrong, its brilliant, but i just do see some things which, in my eyes, could have made it a bit more brilliant

By the way, i know a lot of people (including me) consider your work to be just "amazing" with no buts or maybe's allowed. So please, dont take my "criticism" as the fact that i dont like you - you are among my favourite artists to watch. But as i said, i do tend to notice some things which (purely in my opinion) might have been improved sometimes.

in any case, thanks for the crit. It might be too empty, i just never crop my paintings or flip horizontally at the end like other artists do, which would work as a solution here i guess.

I really like the mood. The picture looks great and skillfully painted, the scenery is interesting (something I'd want for a video game), but what I like most is the atmosphere and mood. I can almost hear the wind howling.
