BACKSTORY

Rena was born in a Digimon Valley in the digital world, she became an instant champion with her trainer. However when her trainer eventually became an adult, Rena was sent back to the digital realm to live out her days. She kept on training to still be a master fighter. Eventually she found a lone Relemon who was cold and scared, so Rena decided to take her in as her own, Rena grew to love her, and Relemon grew to love Rena as her mother.

Once Relemon evolved into a Viximon, she saw Rena training and was interested. She asked if she could train under her mentorship and Rena agreed to it.

Eventually Rena's Viximon evolved into a Renamon herself and mastered everything her mother taught her, as well as getting the chance to go with a 8 year old trainer, Rena's words to her child were "Be the best you can be and make me and your trainer proud.". Little did she know however, those would be the final words she would say to her daughter as when the trainer was 15, they were facing against a powerful Digimon known as Beelzamon.

At that stage, Rena's daughter mastered the other 4 digi-evolutions with her trainer. The battle was chaotic and both combatants gave it their all on each other. Eventually they were both struggling to stand up, but with the last bit of their strength and with one final clash, they both lunged at each other in hopes to defeat their opponent. Rena was hoping her daughter would be victorious, but instead her daughter was defeated and absorbed by Beelzamon, leaving the trainer horrified and alone

When Rena saw what happened, her world shattered and she became devastated over the loss, Rena tried to cope with the loss of her daughter by training harder and more vigorously, but still wonders if she was there, could she have given her life so that her child could continue to live on?
