Description
I'd like to buy the world a homeAnd furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves.
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke
And keep it company
That's the real thing.
What the world wants today
Coca-Cola
Is the real thing

LOL...i was a young teen when the real hippies were invading the streets of san francsico and the groups like Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, The Charlatans, Janis Joplin, Richard and Mimi Farina ..The Fillmore, Family Dog and Avalon Ballroom + beat poets Shel Silverstein Alen Ginsberg Lawrence Ferlighetti and the City Lights Bookstore were all part of the happening scene and the US Counter Culture...plus I guess then LSD was legal..and hippies were signing up left and right to get tested at Stanford U in Palo Alto etc ...I only read about those times was like in highschool 8th grade when all that was happening ....
