Making bounding boxes of faces over reference. This is useful for simplifying the perspective lines of complex objects - like faces!
For each picture, lines of the same color are parallel in 3D and converge to the same vanishing point in 2D. These boxes are not perfect cubes but, instead, are boxes that best fit the target shape.
In practice, this is helpful for aligning facial features properly, such as eyebrows or the mouth, to the rest of the head.
