That's a neat idea! Fabric paint sounds like a definite time-saver, and I like how you embroidered the interior sections. It's a good look. :]

Thanks! I remember wanting to make this for my mom, but running out of time and stressing out about what else I could get for her. Then I remembered having the fabric paint (that I've had for years and rarely have used), and got to it. The look of just the outline on the fabric was very nice by itself, but I wanted to make it have more of a hand-made feel than just the paint. And while starting it, I remembered a few friends saying they wished they had the time to learn to embroider, and figured this was too good of a short-cut not to share. That way, those that aren't into needle-art can still make something awesome, and those that are have a quick fix.
