I just spent four hours on this photo. I feel partially blind.
I've wanted to do this photo for a long time and I think finally finishing it is my first step towards letting go of something that started almost a decade ago. Time and distance has helped me realize I've been giving so much of my love to someone who hurts me time and time again and just doesn't care about me. In a way this is my way of letting go of hope that was destroying me and also realizing I deserve better. I deserve to be someones first choice, not a backup plan. I deserve unconditional love and some day, it WILL happen.
