^^ ohayou minaa ~ Jreng Jreng jreeeng-------------------------------------------
Finally sunday . Here i will share again some tutor
. Right now its a step by step making a stone .ok this
1 . Make the stone siluet . Feel free decide the stone shape . Im doing it with lasso tool
2 . Give it some light / the brighter color so it looks more lifely
3 detail the stone. ( feel free how do you want to sketch the stone crack detail . )
4 more detail on the crack stone sketch . We can make it more bigger or smaller line size to get the deepth . And one more thing .. Give more brightness color in the right side ( where the sun/or source of the light come from) and the left side more darker . U can use gradient
5 detail another part
6 give it more highlight color and detail on the brighter side
7 . Use purple or orange on it . Layer mode in "overlay"
8. U cant edit its contrats on : menu ~ edit ~ adjusment /brightness / contrast
9. Done
I hope u like, and enjoy it
keep the spirit, we are equally as learning

Nice Tutorial, but is it possible to write the infos into the picture?
I save tutorials on my hard disk, but after a few months, it's hard to find the right text too the pic.

How do you apply a gradient to only one layer ?
Like for example these are my layers:
Layer 2 (where I used my gradient, but it applies to all my layers when in overlay mode, while I want it for the object).
Layer 1 (object, for example a tree).
Background.
