Description The character Spawn was created using ZBrush and Maya. I started out looking at reference images of the character. One of the images caught my eye and I based part of the sculpt on it. I started with blocking out the head, then formed the chest. The costume was extracted from the chest and around the head. The cape was created using a cube that was extruded and connected around the body. When creating the face I wanted to give the impression that his face was melted and had some deep burn spots. The small skulls were created using Dynamesh.
After the sculpt was complete, I exported it into Maya in order to create the low topology. After creating the low topology, I imported it back into ZBrush to bake the texture maps.
