I drew two pictures, which belong together. This is the second picture. But no worries, you can see and understand both pictures without knowing the other.

Explanation to the drawing:
The series follows a profiler, who has to struggle with the fact, that his father is a serial killer. He is scared that he might has the same tendecys. Sometimes there are some scenes, which induce him and the viewer to cogitate about it, if Malcolm could be like his father. Martin often says to Malcolm "We are the same". This strenghthen his fear to be like him.
I wanted to show Malcolms fear of this tendecys in this picture.
(SPOILERS UNTIL SEASON 2 EPISODE 2)
But I wanted to show not only this. In my opionion Martin Whitley, his father, manipulate him to be like him and to believe he is like him. After Ainsley killed Endicott, both Malcolm and Ainsley were shocked and didn´t know what was to do. Coincidental their father called to the right time. He told Malcolm how to cover up the murder to get away with it.
I´m convinced Malcolm had choosen the lawful path, even when he had to reveal his sister or take the act on himself, if his father wouldn´t called to that time. Both were clueless what was to do. Malcolm wanted to protect his sitser and so he gave his father the controll about his actions. He just did what his father told him to do.
(Don´t get me wrong. That doesn´t make his actions better, but in my eye it´s a big part, that Martin manipulated him. It´s just my interpretation, that he manipulated him. Maybe you have a diffrent opinion and that is totally okay.)
