And here is my Christmas piece for the year, and my last Deltarune piece for a while. And it’s Kris and Noelle dancing!

So, if you are wondering, “why no Susie or Ralsie?” Well, if it’s not obvious, it’s based on that part where Kris and Noelle are together, and you run into Sweet, Cap'n, and K_K (“K_K is short for Cakes!” I love that), and they play their “Holiday Studio” song for Noelle. I just got this idea of them dancing to it, especially since Kris already has danced with these guys. It has nothing to do with them being together are anything (besides, Susie deserves Noelle, right?).

So, the second Light World version I made was a near last-minute idea I had while sketching, cause, well... I like Noelle’s Light World outfit a bit more (pretty much the opposite of every other Lightner coming into the Dark World). Don’t get me wrong, her Dark Wolrd is nice, just... simple. And I know it’s based on an angel, fitting with how Christmas is a Christain holiday, but I’m not a religious dude, so I just like the more straight forward stuff about Christmas, like the Christmas trees, sweaters, the green and red colors, just not the music, for the most part. Sorry, I’m just one of those guys who’s gotten incredibly sick of hearing Christmas music constantly every year on loop. There are some exceptions, but it’s got to be clever. Which Deltaturne does, Holiday Studio is fun.

Anyways, on top of Noelle’s Light World outfit, I also liked the idea of them dancing in front of that diner in the Light World, QC’s. I like how it looks out front. And again, sorry there are no other characters aside from Kris and Noelle. Honestly, I just didn’t feel like adding Susie, and as for Ralsie... well, he’s a Darkner, so he can’t leave the Dark World. Berdly, maybe? Perhaps they’re dancing in the unseen in the background (like behind the “camera view”, if you could call it that).

Now as for the characters, Kris was pretty straight forward. The dance he is doing is the same one he does in Chapter 2, when he first runs into Sweet, Cap'n, and K_K. I believe it’s called the Kazotsky Kick. For both his outfits, they are just what you expect, just with some more detail. And on his Dark World armor, I added the Deltarune Symbol. I saw that somewhere, and thought it looked cool.

As for Noelle, her Light World outfit is the same, again with a little more detail, like Kirs’s. But for her Dark World outfit, I wanted to add some snow designs, to match her magic type, and of course, it’s because I thought it was too simple, like I said before. I really don’t care about the angel theme, at least not THAT much. Her dance... I don’t know what it is, I saw a gif of it online, it looked like a meme, but I thought it was neat. I didn’t want to do her dance from the one video on YouTube. Nothing wrong with it, just wanted to pick something else.

With that said, I can now confirm, for myself (I don’t know about the rest of you), that every Lighter entering the Dark World gets a color change, along with the outfit change, when they enter the Dark World. I don’t know why, but it happens. Kirs is obvious, he becomes blue. Susie goes from purple to a pinkish or a lighter-purple color with her hair going from brown to purple. Well, both Berdly and Noelle, they get light shades for their colors.

(Also, I think all of my new Deltarune pieces for Chapter 2 so far have involved Kris in some way.)
