'One of those for sure,' Amenii points at a roast sweet potato on a stick. 'And maybe...' Her eyes linger on the far shop off to the side. 'What do you want?'

Amenii considers this for a moment, then nods towards the stand with steaming vegetables, still slow roasting over open spits.

*walks over to them,observing the selection*

Fresh vegetables arrayed on thin wooden sticks rotate suspended over the coals of a wood fire. An array of squashes, potato, carrots and a copious verity of other vegetables are arranged in neat roughs for vendors to look at.
The shop keeper, an elderly porcupine, smiles warmly at you. 'See anything you like?'
Amenii nods, and looks to you.

Amenii points at one of the roasting sweet potatoes. 'It's hard to go wrong with one of those.' She smiles, and gestures for two of the steaming roots.Β

While the shop keeper busies herself preparing the sticks, glazing each with a blend of butters and honey before wrapping a paper cloth to catch any excessive drips. Satisfied with her work, she hands them to you in turn.

The shop keeper just smiles, looks at both of you, and waves you off. 'Free. Free.' she says with a wave.

Taking it with both hands, she shifts her weight on your shoulders. 'I apologize in advance if I turn your hair into one big sticky lump.' She say's lightly.
This brings a smirk from the shop keeper, who hands you some extra napkins. 'Try not to make to big of a mess you two.'

'Maak uuh' Amenii mumbles as she attacks her sweet potato.

Above you, the sound of a Raptor devouring a helpless victim reaches your ears, small bits of orange rain down past your face from time to time.Β

After a few seconds the snarling subsides . Amenii dabs her mouth with her napkin.
'Delicious.'

'It's to the...left.' Amenii corrects, licking her fingers.
Wondering through the park, the trees begin to thin, and a large bill-board declares the annual Zootopia caravel is in town. A smaller sign next to it points the direction indicating it is several block further on.Β

I think we're getting close

First to come are the smells, straw and fresh cuttings of wood chips tint the air, followed by the smell of animals and baking foods.
Rounding the corner, music from several bands can be heard playing in the distance accompanied by the shouts and revelry of those inside.
Lastly upon approach are the lights, twisting and dancing off of moving rides, stands, and the occasional passersby.
'It's beautiful.' Amenii murmurers looking at the display before her. Β Β

Now fueled with starch and sugar, Amenii almost buzzes with excitement, hopping up and down on your shoulders. βWhat are you waiting for? Full canvas!β She points to the main gates at the base of the hill before you. βGive me Ramming speed!β
To urge you on she begins to beat out a fast drum beat on your shoulders.

*laughs happily,taking off towards the gates of the world of entertainment!*

As you near the gate, the gathered crowed turns as Amenii lets loose her battle cry, the sound coming off much to high pitch to frighten, but it does draw the amused smile from those standing in line.
A short wait later, brings you to the ticket kiosk, behind which a young cheetah looks at you, then to the bunny on your shoulder. He appears skeptical, but says nothing.

The line moves with agonizing slowness, as only carnival lines can, you can feel Ameniiβs tension as her feet thump nervously against you. Clearly, she is just, if not more, excited as you are.
βI cant wait! I cant wait! I cant wait! She chants looking at the opening that is guarded by the twin ticket booths. Her eyes dart from on to the other trying to gage which line is moving faster.

'Hey!' Her brow scrunching. 'That's not very nice.' Her excited nature is damped.

Humphing, she bops your head. 'I'll let it go this time.' Then rubs your hair, and adds playfully.Β 'But only because your the muscle of this operation.'

The carny gives both of you a one over, clearly not trusting what he sees, but produces to tickets, 'One adult, and one child. That will be Fifteen fifty.'

Thought it takes her a moment to bury her anger Amenii manages. Blowing out a long breath, she looks down and manages to smile. 'Only because you asked.' She teases.

It is impossible for Amenii to remain angry, not while being surrounded by lights, booths promising every wear imaginable, and the smella of food wafting through the crowded streets.

'I had hoped you would take the lead, but seeing that I'm captain...' she looks around, 'there!'
Ahead a hall of mirrors twists inwardly distorting the shape of anything around it.

Amenii snaps off a few shots, focusing on the mirrors, and trying to capture the surrounding activities in a panorama. 'You work for a News agency?' Her ears quip up with interest.

'I used to model, mostly for drawning anatomy, but sometimes I would take private sessions.' Her gaze drifts 'It was mostly photo shoots.'
