Photoshop work done in 2012
Mainly airbrushing, burn tool, and smudge tool used

Piece #2 of my Pokemon Art Binge. Gengar, my personal favorite pokemon. I don't like to stray too far from Ken Sugimori's original Pokemon designs, but I definitely wanted to up Gengar's badassness to a resonable level. So now he has glowing eyes, plaqued out gums and cracked teeth (probably from eating all those dreams). I always wanted to make a non-grinning Gengar, so I gave his mouth a more sinister snarl.

(note: The hardest part about this piece was figuring out a background for gengar. I eventually just settled for what I visualize as a Hypnosis/Dream Eater attack)
