Description
Here is a Cougar omnimech made as a present for a family member. It is made mainly from resin after being mastered in sheet styrene and cast from RTV moulds. The LRM launchers and Large pulse lasers were 3d printed on a Tevo Tarantula after being modelled in Fusion 360. They needed some work to tidy up after.

The arms have metal ball joints and poly caps in the shoulders with a further mix of screws and polycaps in the elbows for a bit of posablility. The legs are fixed pose with carbon rod and brass tube to support them.

The base is a wooden display blank with a sheet of emery cloth epoxied on top, followed by some dark earth flock and various bits of woodland scenics bushes and grass.

The Mech is painted with Tamiya and Revell acrylics. I was in a bit of a rush to finish and used acrylic thinners for a wash - be warned, this made the paint try to come off!
