This is Magic Simon Petrikov. This guy came from a universe in which where Simon and Betty swapped roles. In this what if, when Betty is chasing Simon around town. He hides in the alleyway. While hiding in the alleyway, Simon feels regret for allowing Betty to wear the crown and not listening to the old dockworker's advice about the crown being cursed. Suddenly, out of the blues, he saw a portal to the future and see Betty. When he sees this, he goes to the portal and kissed Betty. Later, when he sees his fianceè dying, he decides to save her by bringing her with him using a flying carpet and going to Bella Noche and punching him, restoring her back to her Ice Queen self. In the end, like with canon Betty, Simon watches Ice Queen Betty tells the story of the mysterious handsome man rescuing her and saving her from Bella Noche to Muscle Princess. After that, Simon left with his flying carpet, vowing to save Betty.

In this what if, similar to Betty's role in canon, Simon goes around Ooo and to figure out how to cure Betty and save her from the crown. Besides that, Simon seeks to find the Ice Crown's creator and make him pay for turning his fianceè into a wizard. How does he do that, by studying how magic works, like what Betty did in canon, and learning that all magic users have sadness and madness in them. Later, during AU's version of Forget Your Floaties, he scanned on Magic Man's powers. While he is doing that, Finn and Jake interferred with Simon's process and turned Simon into the the new Magic Man. Not only that, he stole the original Magic Man's hat and says "Laters." After the process, Magic Man became Normal Man. And this is where the story of the new Magic Man or Magic Simon begins.
